Product Overview
RLA WPU is a single-component, water-based waterproofing membrane that forms a tough, flexible barrier on suitable prepared substrates.
Its polyurethane/acrylic formulation combines fibre reinforcement with resistance to outdoor exposure. It can be incorporated into tiled waterproofing systems or used as an exposed membrane where only light, intermittent maintenance access is required.
The single-pack formulation requires no component mixing and offers good adhesion across a range of suitable construction surfaces.

Notes
- Prepare sound, smooth surfaces and remove contaminants
- Repair defects before waterproofing
- Allow concrete to cure for at least 28 days and conventional render or screed for 7 days
- Select RLA Porous Primer or Non Porous Primer to suit the substrate
- Treat damp or high-moisture substrates with RLA Moisture Seal as specified
- Complete joints, penetrations and flange detailing with the specified RLA system
- Apply by brush or medium nap roller and verify coating thickness with a wet-film gauge
- Allow the first coat to dry, then apply the second at right angles
- Use compatible polymer-modified adhesives for direct tile fixing
- Clean tools with water before the membrane dries
- Follow the full TDS for installation and detailing requirements
