RLA TruLevel EconoScreed

RLA TruLevel EconoScreed is an engineered screeding compound for new construction, renovation and remedial work.

The pre-bagged formulation helps maintain consistent batches while reducing the variability and contamination associated with mixing sand and cement on site. Simply add the specified quantity of clean water; no admixture is required in the screed mix.

Its reduced water demand helps control shrinkage, while the formulation reduces the risk of efflorescence associated with traditional sand/cement screeds.

• Residential and commercial floor screeding
• Forming shower bases and falls towards drains
• Building ramps and floor transitions
• Repairing uneven concrete floors
• Underlayment beneath tiles, carpet, vinyl and parquetry

• Prepare a stable, sound and clean substrate; mechanically remove weak material and contaminants
• Concrete must be at least 14 days old
• For bonded work, use the specified Plastinex slurry or Mastik adhesive bonding system, applying the screed wet-on-wet
• For unbonded work, follow the TDS requirements for two polyethylene layers and galvanised reinforcement
• Measure mixing water accurately and add powder gradually while mechanically mixing
• Continue mixing for two minutes after all powder is added
• Do not hand mix or exceed the specified water quantity
• Compact thoroughly, form the required levels or falls and finish with a wood float
• Discard stiffened material; do not retemper
• Protect curing screed from direct sunlight and drying winds
• Test moisture before installing floorcoverings
• Wash tools immediately after use
