Product Overview
RLA WPM is a liquid waterproofing membrane designed to accommodate expected structural movement beneath tiled finishes.
The single-pack formulation offers straightforward application, good substrate adhesion and a flexible finish. Its low VOC content makes it suitable for internal wet-area projects.
RLA WPM also holds a Global GreenTag Product Health Declaration with a PlatinumHEALTH rating, supporting projects requiring independently assessed material health information.

Applications
- Bathrooms, laundries and shower recesses
- Residential and commercial wet areas
- Under-tile waterproofing on balconies and terraces
- Suitable concrete, render, screed and masonry substrates
- Suitable compressed fibre cement sheeting and plasterboard
Notes
- Prepare sound, smooth surfaces and remove contaminants mechanically
- Repair holes, cracks and surface defects before waterproofing
- Allow concrete to cure for 28 days and conventional cement render or screed for 7 days
- Use RLA Porous Primer or Non Porous Primer as appropriate; damp substrates require RLA Moisture Seal
- Detail joints, penetrations and flanges using the specified RLA bond-breaker system
- Apply by brush or medium nap roller, checking thickness with a wet-film gauge
- Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second at right angles
- Use compatible polymer-modified adhesive for tiling
- Follow the complete TDS and applicable waterproofing requirements
