Product Overview
Mapei Eco Prim Grip is a multi-purpose, ready-to-use adhesion-promoting primer designed for use on internal and external floors and walls. It is specifically formulated to improve the bond of cementitious adhesives, renders, and levelling compounds on smooth or low-porosity substrates such as existing tiles and dense concrete.
The formulation is based on synthetic resin in water dispersion with selected aggregates to create a textured surface that enhances mechanical key. It is solvent-free, low odour, and suitable for use in occupied environments. Mapei Eco Prim Grip is commonly used in flooring preparation where reliable adhesion is required over difficult substrates prior to further system build-up.

Notes
- Ready to use – do not dilute
- Apply evenly with roller or brush
- Allow to dry before applying subsequent products
- Waiting time approx. 15–20 minutes for renders
- Waiting time approx. 30 minutes for levelling compounds
- Ensure substrate is clean, sound, and free of contaminants
- Avoid application on surfaces with rising damp
